Saturday, August 16 - Start cruise from Prosser, WA

6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. - Breakfast
8:30 a.m. - Drivers meeting
9:00 a.m. - Depart Prosser

- possible auto museum tour enroute - will need to adjust following times if this is added

10:00 a.m. - Arrive in Bickleton
- 30 minute rest, snacks, gas if needed

10:30 a.m. - Depart Bickleton

11:15 a.m. - Arrive in Roosevelt

- 10 to 15 minute rest stop

11:30 a.m. Depart Roosevelt

12:00 p.m. - Arrive at Stonehenge Memorial

- 30 minute rest, photos at full size replica of Stonehenge

12:30 p.m. - Depart Stonehenge Memorial

1:00 p.m. - Arrive in Goldendale

- 60 minute lunch, restaurant TBD, need headcount

2:00 p.m. - Depart Goldendale

3:00 p.m. - Arrive in Lyle

- 10 to 15 minute rest stop

3:15 p.m. - Depart Lyle

4:00 p.m. - Arrive at Rowena Crest View point

- 30 minute rest, scenic photos

4:30 p.m. - Depart Rowena

5:30 p.m. - Arrive at Bonneville Hot Springs Resort & Spa (Reservations: 509-427-7767 (tel:509-427-7767))

- check in, clean up, rest
- room block reserved until 8/2/2014 @ $209-269 plus taxes/fees per room
6:30 p.m. - Meet at Resort restaurant for dinner

Sunday, August 17 - North Bonneville, WA

Itinerary to be determined during and/or after dinner on Saturday night. There is a restaurant on site or we may elect to go offsite for breakfast.

Return home after checkout.

I really hope to make it to more events next year. It seems almost every event so far this year, I have previous engagements. It's almost unbelievable how they coincide with other stuff I have going on this year.

Just to rub salt in your wounds, this cruise has over 300 turns (and more than a few 180 + turns) - not including the long sweepers that you can see from a few miles away via google maps. ;)

URGENT!!!!!

Saturday, August 2nd, is the last day to reserve a room at our preferred rate at the Bonneville Resort. Normal rates apply after that and are $70-150 more per room. The Best Western still has rooms available, but our block is no longer held. We didn't get any discount there, but the rooms may disappear if you don't get yourself booked.

FYI Rowena Crest is closed due to fires I believe.

Been keeping a close watch - I know hwy 30 was closed on Monday, but it reopened on Tuesday w/no restrictions. Fire is now 100% contained with a just a few mop-up activities. If we have to alter the plan, it's not a big deal. Rowena wasn't a part of our original route anyway until I changed it to back-track a bit to cross the border and add the loop. So maybe we'll only have 250+ turns instead of 300+... ;) Either way will be a great cruise.
