We will be there for the entire four days and check out Ben's new Viper series car along with the SRT Viper team of course. If you are planning to attend post here or PM me so we can meet for this historical event in the combined series. We will be in the paved infield area adjacent to the bus stop back stretch in an RV so stop by for a toddy! Mark

Frank There is no host hotel per say. The best place to stay if you can still get it is any hotel right across the street from the track. There are several and an easy walk back and forth. The hotels on the beach are not advised as too much travel time with the traffic.

I stay at the Quality Inn across from the track when I do track days there. They just recently did some renovations as well.

I will be there to enjoy a great Viper weekend. Maybe a Friday night get together would be fun. Post a time and place and we can all meet there. I was there at the start in 1996 and for several of the following years. The rule changes eliminated big displacement motors so I lost interest in the race. It will be fun to be back again.

Local VOA chapter is trying to setup something with SRT. We will update when we have something confirmed.

I will be flying in on Wednesday night and would definitely be up for dinner on Friday. I contacted SRT this past week, and they said they are organizing the SRT hospitality package like they did for the ALMS races last year. Looking forward to it!

Hopefully heading out on the 18th from frozen Northern Michigan with the Viper. May have to put studs in the tire to get out. See you all there with or without the Viper.

You are correct, it was a great experience last july in LimeRock CT for the AMLS, enjoy yourselves.

Local region is having a dinner on Friday night before the race if anyone from out of town is interested in joining

We are please to announce to our we planned a group dinner on Friday Jan. 24th (night before the Rolex24) at BJ's Brewhouse (http://www.bjsrestaurants.com/locati.../daytona-beach). It is across the street from the racetrack and we have reservations for 7:30pm. We really need everyone to RSVP to this event to get an accurate count for the restaurant and parking. So please RSVP ASAP if you plan on attending. This is a great way to bring your significant other to the Rolex without haven't to spend two days at the track! ALL Viper owners are welcome and everyone will be on there own tab. We will have some folks from out of town attending and MAY have a surprise guest or 2.
