Pic posting problem?

Every time I try to make a post with a pic in it, even if the pic is in a post I'm quoting, I get a message saying my post won't show up until a moderator has reviewed it. A few days have gone by, and still none of my posts with pics are showing up. What gives?

I just reported the same thing. I'm also getting redirected to a 500 Internal server error by trying to embed images:


I was trying to imbed an image and I'm getting a moderation message followed by a 500 Internal Server Error...

Steps to recreate:

Create a new post and select "Manage Attachments"
Upload an image and select Insert Inline.
Preview the post and click on the link to the attachment. This will allow you to view the picture.
Right click on the image and select copy image location or copy the image url (browser dependent)
Close the image viewer and edit your post for -past the url here-
Publish the post.

I'm get the following message:
"Redirecting...

Thank you for posting! Your post will not be visible until a moderator has approved it for posting. You will now be taken back to the forum. If you opted to post a poll, you will now be allowed to do so.
Click here if your browser does not automatically redirect you."


Followed by a redirection to: http://driveviper.com/forums/36-Test-Posts [The redirection should be http://driveviper.com/forums/forums/36-Test-Posts]

Are you guys trying to upload your pics as an attachment? Try the following and see if it works!

Just make a free account with Photobucket and upload your pics there. Then copy the bottom IMG code and just paste it into your post. The text will start with something like this URL=http://s1121.photobucket.com/user/VYPR_BYT_94/media/35633_etc,etc...

and then you go to preview message and it will show the entire pic like this...

I can inline an image from another source but I get an error when trying to inline an attachment. It's a common practice that I've used for other vBulletin sites.

I prefer not to maintain an outside account and be subject to its bandwidth regulations. By attaching the image directly to the thread, the image will remain visible to users as long as the thread survives. I have a thing against old threads with the little red x's.

I'm not trying to upload any attachments, and all my attempted pics are hosted off site. I'm also often getting the Internal Server error when I try to post a pic
