It is time for our July event, lets see who is the real dead eye!!
Event: Guns & Vipers cruise and private pistol range (RSVP MUST be in no later than July 7th - READ DESCRIPTION)
Meeting place: H-E-B located @ 1655 Texas 46, New Braunfels, TX 78132
Time: July 13, 2014 Sunday
Meet at 12 Noon, leaving at 12:30 PM.

Bob and Lori Overfield have organized TWO events for us this July. The first event will be Guns & Vipers on July 13th. This first event, we will start out at our meeting point in New Braunfels, take a twisty hour long cruise through the hill country around Canyon Lake on our way to our very own private pistol range exclusively for Viper Owners. This is a privately run facility that has put the entire day on hold for all of us Viper Owners! Not to fret if you do not own a pistol either. As long as you bring your own box of 50 rounds of 9MM ammo you may borrow any of the facilities pistols to join in on the fun and share the Guns & Vipers event. If you have never shot a pistol before and are a bit shy about it, don't be. The facility will have professional trainers onsite to answer any questions, to make sure everyone is safe, and to help you out in any way possible. (Trying out a pistol in front of your Viper family is much less intimidating than trying in front of 100 strangers at a public range) We will have to cover costs of the range fee but as always MAMBA members get a giant discount and VOA members get a discount as well. All Viper Owners are welcome but you will be charged at full cost as well as people who do not RSVP.
All targets and PPE will be provided at the range. Any handgun is allowed from a .22 all the way to a .50. No rifles allowed, pistols only on this one. If you need further info or have any questions please let me know. We have gone to great lengths to make this event fun and entertaining but at the same time extremely safe for all levels of shooters.
The range is located on an unpaved road so we have arranged to park at Bob Overfield's home (9618 Kurre Way, Garden Ridge, Texas 78266) and be transported to the range (5 minute drive). Bring as many pistols as you would like or bring only 9mm ammo to use the range pistols, your choice!
We must have ALL RSVP in no later than July 7th to set up the group. The easiest way to pay is via PayPal sending money to info@centraltexasvca.com. Please make sure to include the names of the people you are paying for in the Notes section of your PayPal transaction.
If writing a check please send a check made out to South Central Texas Viper Club, Inc. to my address 3602 Sumantra Cliff San Antonio, TX 78261. I will send you an email confirming receipt of your check as soon as it arrives and add you to the RSVP list. Either way please RSVP to this email so I know a payment is coming. The deadline to send in payment/RSVP will be July 7th.
As always ALL Viper owners are welcome to attend and join us, we hope you will become members very soon. Membership does have its rewards, other than an outstanding magazine, insurance, forums and an organization working for you and your Viper every day, you also get discounts on each and every event like this.
