Come on people we gotta wake up this forum. This is crossroads of America baby! Let the fun begin.
We own vipers not corvettes. Thank god! Had my car out for like the 3rd event ever and I meet my nemesis. Its not everyday you meet a guy with a color matched outfit (Shorts colored matched to his car, embroidered skirt color matched to his car, matching hat, matching attitude, walks like he has a serious case of hemroids. OK I made that part up) that could tee me off so quickly. Three faint words
BUCKET OF BOLTS! Moving on now.
So I watched a caddy, early 60's last night at D&M do a burnout at the lights. Tony said it best. It made the whole night worth it. Close your eyes and picture this. .... this was a really cool car. .... minus the burnout... lol
Long rectangle. ....
Black as asphalt. .
Straight as an arrow(nice body)
Custom chrome wheels
Weird Honda multiple rectangle side exhaust tips
Long like stretch limo long.......
Pulls to the light
Revs her up like he wants to do a neutral drop
Opens his door and runs to the back of his car
Throws an anchor out and stabs it in the asphalt
Gets back in his car
Stomps on it when the light turns green
Front end up
Back end down
Front end still going up( i swear he had 32" travel front shocks on this thing)
One wheel wonder tire spinning.
Now take that with all my boat references and picture a 26' crownline with a v8 trying to come up to plane and never being able to because someone forgot to put the drain plug back in and she's going down!
So when is the next cruise? I had an absolute blast when we did that. That was the highlight of my membership. Let's get something "fingered" out!
:United_States:
Little to no response on the 5th of July party...might have to invite corvette club in order to get a response. .. lol
That's all till next time
Josh
