OK, today this happened to me for the 2nd time. MIL light comes on and car loses just about all power. Car is a 2014 TA. Shut her down, car resets itself and then all's fine. Also was on highway with a small shoulder, this can be dangerous. Happened to any1 else? Do I have something major to worry about here?

See dealer ASAP...they will look at it on a wiTECH.

Do NOT clear codes.

Do you have access to a scan tool.

Twice certainly means there's an issue vs a fluke. That's disheartening, especially on a TA. Is you car bone stock? Just wondering.

I know on the Gen IV you don't need a scan tool. Turning the ignition on and off four times will show you all the codes and give you time enough to write those down and tell you "done" at the end of the cycle. A $12 Bluetooth adapter (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009RLB4Z8/?tag=hardfocom-20), and the free Torque phone app (http://torque-bhp.com/) will allow you to clear codes. The Torque apps will show you all the codes as well.

I thought that was only the G1. The G2 did not have that ability.I do not believe all the G5 codes can be accessed. The dash display gives you codes if they are related to environmental issues

Same here on my TA a couple of weeks ago:

But I am running Belangers/Corsa, come to find out it was because I wasn't driving the car hard enough and probably lugging it around town.

The worst part about stuff like this is having to take a car like this to the average Dodge dealer. Just my opinion. Frustrated for ya. Hope it gets sorted soon. Keep us posted.

Thanks Policy. No access to scan and car is bone stock...Not happy right now. Guess I will take her to dealer...
