My Viper is leaking PS Fluid from around the fitting that goes to the power steering pump.
I've checked around and all I could find was that you have to order the PS line that goes from the pump to the fan but it only comes with one fitting included and that you have to order the second fitting for the other end.

So I ordered these...
Hose: 05102280AA
Fitting: 52088914AA

They arrived but my hose does not have any fitting attached to it or included. So I'm stuck with one seperate fitting.

I guess my main questions are:
- Is that hose SUPPOSED to have one fitting included as everyone else has said. (While wondering why it didn't come with both.)
- If that hose does NOT come with any fitting at all, do I need two of that same fitting or is one end a different fitting from the other?

Thanks everyone!

do these typically leak at the same spot? Mine leaks, but I haven't really gone looking for the source. Older posts on other forums pointed to where the reservoir mates with the system, but my readings recently make it seem more like the fittings leaking on the hoses.

It definitely sounds like it's most commonly the fittings themselves leaking as opposed to the hose but that's just going by what I've read as well.

In my case. It appears to be where the fitting attaches to the power steering pump.

Also, thanks again Mark!

Mine exploded while the car was up on the rack hitting the tech in the head and sending him to the hospital. Just saying....high high high pressure there, you want to be SUPER careful dicking around with those hydraulic hoses. You can lose an eye or break a bone real fast.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll be sure to pass it along to the mechanic I have doing the work!

I had leaky lines when I bought my car last month, and i guess we roughed them up a bit installing my paxton.
My line exploded last week. Tony at JTSVP had a set shipped with tracking number before the tow truck arrived. Within 18 minutes of calling, it was in the mail and arrived in D.C. the next morning. Cant say enough for the quality of his product and his customer service.

Turns out my missing fitting actually fell out of a tiny slit in the bag and was found in the delivery truck the next day.
Supposed to have it installed Tuesday!

If run into any more issues I think the JTSVP lines are the way to go!
