So we recently built a new house and my focus was totally on the garage. The plans were together for a 3 car garage with a high ceiling for the lift, but I wanted to decorate it more now that I had lots of wall space. I already had some sweet posters from the Ohio Club parties, but I wanted to put the logos on the wall too.

I decided to try to make them out of foam board. This sounds a bit ridiculous initially because it's fragile, but it is also low risk. If I messed it up, I wasn't out much money. This would also make it easier to cut the complex shapes and easier to hang since they would be light. I started with Sneaky Pete (my favorite!) and if that went well I would do the others. It started to look good so I did all three.

I used a big projector at work to put the logo up on the screen and trace each logo on the black foam board. This is quarter inch thick.

Once I had it traced, I had to carefully cut out all the shapes. Then I bought a half inch thick white foam board for the background. Each logo was glued to the white background.

Then the outside was carefully cut around the border.

Then 2 coats of Yellow paint! :D

Each logo is about 26 inches wide, but they don't weigh much at all. I bought a few sets of the adhesive hooks to hang them on the walls of the garage. And finally this morning they made it to the garage wall!

Overall I'm very happy with how they turned out. It probably only cost $50 in supplies total, but I have many hours into tracing, cutting, gluing, and painting. Totally worth it!
