Thanks to a Viper-Owner customer who works there, I may have more track-miles in a Tesla Pace Car (S-models P85+) than anyone. Truly AMAZING....

Got my eyes on that as well to replace a 2007 Escalade.

Know a few people with the performance and it just screams. Will be crazy to see what they are doing in a decade.

Curious to see how well the "gullwing" doors work.

Admire Musk, who else would decide to start a car company and a space company at the same time lol.

I have 12 foot ceilings in my garage, so no problem there. Here in Texas there are few times that you have to worry about overhead....at least when parking.

Not feeling it.

Sort of feel the same. personally I am not a fan of the 4 foot wide LCD on the dash of the S and now X. I'll wait to judge in person.

Sorry, but that looks like hell! And you better hope no one parks in the space beside you or you ain't getin' back in.

Someone had nothing better to do one evening after a few suds and bingo, this Tesla was born.

If it wore one of the big three logos and or Japanese , we would all be laughing at it. just because it says Tesla people consider it...lol...well... I guess it whats makes the world go round.

Tesla is building some great cars. You should go drive one. My thoughts on it have nothing to do with brand.

Doors are double hinged in the back to allow opening in tight spaces (http://www.teslamotors.com/modelx).

Falcon rear doors accomplish two things. Allows people to stand up while getting into the 3rd row seats, without needing to crawl back there on their hands and knees, and to eliminate the stigma of having a sliding rear door, reminiscent of a minivan.
