Does it have a set RPM Like the GT500 and Z06 Does ?? Can you turn it on and go half throttle then dump the clutch ? Thanks for the replies ..:drive:

You can turn it off and do whatever you want. My fastest 0-60 times are always in nanny free mode.

I miss understood your second sentence then. I thought you were asking if you could turn launch control on and off.

Yes it does, I believe it is close to 5000. It is a very difficult to use on the drag strip, almost impossible. If you are not racing another car and merely launch against a light it may work. Like Flatout said, you are better off launching with ESC off and do not use the launch control. There is a write up on the SRT website. In my case, the Gen 5 has far better traction than my Gen 2. That does not mean it always launches better, however, it is capable of a good launch, just harder to master.

On launch control do you have to wait until it gets to 5000 or as soon as you floor it can you pop the clutch instantly . Thanks for replies

There is a write-up on the web site. As soon as launch control goes active you must put the pedal to the floor. I believe you only have two seconds or LC deactivates.
