I'm getting ready to have my new GTS wrapped with vinyl stripes and want to be sure they get the dimensions correct. I was wondering if there is a GTS owner who would be willing to take some measurements of their stripes so I can provide them to the shop as a go by. Thanks in advance!

UPDATE: I found a GTS with stripes at a local dealership and have taken the necessary measurements. Just in case anyone else is considering the same, I have placed the dimensioned drawings in the how-to below.

The Year Matters

97-2002

97-02:

8" wide stripes with a 4 3/8" gap between

Metric? 97-02 has 203 mm stripes with 112 mm gap between them

TRIVIA: 96 GTS stripes were a bit different than all other G2

You mention VINYL. Chek out www.autodrimdesign.com (http://www.autodrimdesign.com)

Looks like you had a little misspelling that resulted in a broken link, Corrected: http://www.autotrimdesign.net/

Have you used them? They look like a very skilled shop with lots of custom product. I also followed a link to their Youtube channel showing lots of their capabilities.

autotrim desigh does the stripes for viperstore, and they usual copy the stripes off a real car to factory specs.

I see them now! I was looking under "decals" instead of "graphics". That being said, I'm having the entire car wrapped so gonna let them handle the how.

I'm wrapping it like the GT3-R race car (minus the rear wing and text graphics of course)

If mine was white that's exactly what I would do. Post pics when you're done!

I'm planning to have some "professional" photos taken after it's completed and will certainly post them up.

Thanks guys. :) The shop I went to did an amazing job. I'm gonna create a build thread once I get all the pics and video from them. They used Avery vinyl (http://averyvinyl.com/).

That's what she's wearin' now ;) Chomping at the bit to get some good pictures taken to post up. Main thing holding me up is I was unsuccessful with getting the new splitters installed I purchased from Jetstar. Gonna give it another shot soon.

That's amazing. I'm officially jealous.

One question, how do you see out the windshield? Without those top few inches I wouldn't have a chance of seeing stop lights change.

I'm short lol

Seriously though, I do have to duck my head down to see stop lights if I'm the first car but other than that, my vision isn't restricted at all.
