Going over to scope out a new storage facility for the winter today that's closer to my house and has better security than the one's I've used in the past. It's almost that time.....Viper hibernation.

Sad indeed.
Can't remember but last year or the one before, I drove the viper between Christmas and New Years.

You are in Columbus? A group of us run Mid if you are interested in driving or hanging out.

This is why we moved to Arizona:slap: Born in Akron, lived in Canton and Massillon and don't miss the snow.

I have been to AZ on business before but it's been awhile, drove on a roadcourse there, borrowed a friend's car. Have heard it's a great place to live.
Viper weather most of the year?

AZ has some advantages! Weatherwise. August 2013? We had 120+°F :-)

Most of the time the weather is great. 120 can be a little warm but you get use to it. Remember it's a dry heat:). Also any of you Ohio people follow high school football.?Playoffs about ready to begin.

Good tips on storage, a few I hadn't seen - thanks. All except that A/C stuff. Real Vipers don't have A/C's :car-smiley-003:

Well, I decided not to store the Viper off site this year after all. Save some money, figured I'd do some work on it I've been putting off. Gese, what a mistake. I'm really tired of clearing off the KIA for the daily drive and it's not even January yet !!!

I am in Washington state , but I keep the Viper ready to go in my heated garage. If it is a dry day it gets to go out and play. Fortunately we don't get much snow here, but we have an awful lot of grey and cloudy days with some drizzle. It would be tough for me to put away the Viper and not get to play for several months. Actually, we have a short Cruz near my house on New Years day each year and only once has it rained. The other times were a bit chilly and we had to bundle up (35 degrees).
