Spark Plug Wire Retainers

Hey everyone. I need to change my valve cover gaskets, but I can't figure out how to remove the spark plug wire retainer clips that mount onto some of the valve cover bolts. Do you just pull them off? They seem to be on there very tight and I don't want to break them.

Tap the base of the wire retainer with a screwdriver to pop it off. Those retainers get very brittle over time. Order a new set of 8 from Dodge.
