From people who have first hand experience with them on Gen 4. Did you noticed meaningful improvement. What changed? Would you do it again especialy if you only eo street and mild tracking

Thanks

Not sure if this helps but I put a wavetrac on my 300srt8 and it is great. It keeps both wheels with traction all the time but without the noise of a full locker. Its super smooth just as smooth as an open diff but with much better traction and should have come on the car stock. Make sure to use either a non synthetic oil or a synthetic oil without any friction modifiers in it. I use the Motul 300 in mine. If you use anything with the friction modifiers its too slippery and sometimes prevents both wheels from locking up and you could occasionally spin just 1 wheel.

if you expect to keep the car stable in a straight line under full acceleration, just by upgrading to a Wavetrac or Quaife... you may be very disappointed.
Viper gen 1 to 4 has no traction control whatsover. And tons of torque.

The only way I found to tame the beast a little, is to have proper tires (Kumho ACR 355's in my case) + better-than-stock alignement with a lot of front caster and some rear toe-in + lots of TKO motorsports goodies.

A Wavetrac helps compared to stock gen 3 diff, probably much less compared to gen 4's.... Especially when you exit corners. But do you ''exit corners'' on the street? I sure tend to be a bit more cautious :witless:

I do exit corners on the street :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))). Now Quaife has held some monster TQ cars very straight for me. Kleeman W210 E55 with close to 700 and GT2 with close to 650lbft(Well it's actually Guard on that one). It holds it so well what once in the red light race I was spinning tires all the way to the middle of 3rd gear (probably well over 80mph) without realizing it. Rear end did not flinched a single bit. Now that GT2 has fully sorted RSR spec(actualy better than) suspension which probably helped a lot. Before LSD both cars especially E55 were all over the place. That car flipped 180 degrees more than one time. I've used Wavetrac on bolt on moded N/A CLK 63 but this car does not have a monster TQ(I think 450 peak). But yes - I understand rest of suspension should be worked on.
