Short throw shifter Gen 5

I’m in the middle of changing out my clutch and was wondering is it worth it to change out the stock shifter with an aftermarket short throw? Anyone out there have thoughts about this or experience with a different shifter and if so does it feel more precise or better shifting?

The Gen 5 has a much improved shifter over the earlier T56. I have never changed one.

I've asked this and been told that not many change it, as Dan mentioned above.

However, I have a T56 Magnum in my SS with a MGW shifter and it's night and day, but, that isn't to say the Vipers is bad.

I thought the issue is that there is no room for a short shifter.

I don't believe there is a company that makes a short shifter for the Gen V

I agree with Dan. Compared to my other Vipers, my Gen V is "just a flick of the wrist to Shift"

Agreed. Already a fantastic shifter. no point in changing it.
