There are a few scattered here and there.

You might get a solid recommendation if you list your location.

Good hunting !!

I called my local Dodge dealership and they usually can point you to which location has a certified tech

Stellantis will pay an Dodge dealer to do the warranty work, whether they have a Viper tech or not. You'd just need to find a store willing to work on one.

I am located near Austin, Texas.

Will reach out to some. Think viper techs will be most informed on door hinges

Door hinges shouldn't be a big deal. It's not like they created special ones for the Viper.

100% agree, that's why I've gravitated to them. The Gen Vs are by far the hardest, because they have all of the electronics and such....but pre-Gen V, very few things actually needed to be taken care of at the Dodge store. That's the great thing about owning a Viper.

getting the alignment on the door correct after a hinge replacement can be tricky.. bad alignment can cause a raft of problems/annoyances.. albeit not all Viper techs are good.. but not all bad either. Experiance and willingness to research the correct method for replacement are traits i prefer.

Agree. I'm getting older and don't want to work on anything anymore....but if something goes wrong mechanically, it's very straight forward.

For the record, several years ago, Dodge moved to allowing any Level 3 Master Tech to do "warranty work" on Vipers. Therefore, many dealerships have said that they have a "qualified Viper Tech" on staff though said tech might not have had the Viper specific training classes..and the diploma that went with them. This does not mean that the tech is incompetent, careless, or inept.

We received a listing of dealers in our region with certified Viper techs from Dodge. Unfortunately, as you might expect, the list is somewhat out of date.

@Franchise Greg Cerny, Regional President, I think lives in the area. If you haven't, trying giving him a call. His number is under "The Club" and "Regions" tabs.
