I'm an idiot.... I pulled the negative cable since I'm heading out the country for 2 weeks and I let the hatch close gently. Both my windows are up and the fucking key doesn't work in the trunk access. Am I missing something or is there another way to get in that doesn't involve breaking something? There may be hope since the dealer recently dealt with this issue, but I never heard what they did and they are closed for the weekend. Any ideas?

Put a 12 volt source on it at the PDC...retry fob and key. Call me if you are in doubt at 317 402 9013

Tried to call you...left a message.

Likewise! Worked like a charm, thank you!

Since my 2 minute google search on this issue didn't help me and for those that need to be spoon fed the basics like me... Pop the hood and hook up some jumper cables to get power back to the car... 52106

Haven't had this problem as of yet, but that is some good-to-know info!

Steve is the man when it come to getting into Vipers, disarming alarm systems etc.. I swear he was a car thief as a young swan.. LOL...

A good guideline to remember is: when working on a Viper's electrical system, start by lowering the windows...especially if doing an IOD (Ignition Off Draw) test or disconnecting the battery.
