I’m seeing a few Vipers signed up other than me. Anyone else here going?

Good luck! Why are you running TTU?

There are not 5 cars signed up in TT2, and I LOVE those Toyo Bucks. I did the same at High Plains a few weeks back and still ended up in 1st. TT2 at nationals.

Haha that was my guess. Best of luck! Micah Kempf runs in TT1 in a blue Corvette, Hastings is his local track. He's pretty fast and a super nice guy.

Also, have you watched Bob's 1:24 from June? If not I can send you the link. He even left a little time on clock.

The last turn before coming onto the straight is the only 'hard' corner on the track. I can't tell you how many times I've spun there.

If you could send me that 1:24 that would be awesome. I've only been there once during NASA last year and was missing a 3rd gear. Hoping to get close to 1:30 but it's gonna be hard. Last year with the bad tranny I couldn't get any faster than 1:35.

I was there in 2020 and ran a 29.8 and felt REALLY good about it. Everyone I've talked to said the new asphalt is like glue. I don't think I could hit 24, but next time I'll be aiming for a 26.

The one with a working clutch.

Ah tricky! They both have a working clutch as of last night!

BUT, I have my son's birthday Saturday afternoon so I would be making a 5hour trek late Saturday and coming straight back Sunday, so I opted for the reasonable decision and am staying home. Mark will be slaying it though! His car flat out scoots!

I'll run it on the simulator this weekend and see how I compare!

1:27.810 as of this morning haha I think I can get down to the low 1:26s. This is on the old surface with that grip coefficient.

I'm usually within .750-1 second from the sim to the track. Some tracks I'm faster in person others I'm faster on the sim.

Dang! I didn't know MPH was on Assetto Corsa! I'll have to try that out soon.

Considering Mr. Rubin was on Sloyos, he did really well, pretty much running with all the other Vipers except Jason Walsh in the TTU Class. If he had run TT2 he would have won the Class, but I think he figured out if he comes to the Viper Rendezvous this coming June he will need some new shoes. Frankly jumping from the Sloyos to Michelin or Pirelli slicks I would predict he would be in the 1:30s! He probably doesn't feel it, but he did exceedingly well with the black rubber donuts he was using. My semi sage advice ----" Donut use Sloyos at the Rendezvous!"

It's a mod track, you have to access it through Content Manager. They have all of the Midwest tracks on there, including Ozarks.

That's solid!
