Headlight stuck on High beam

The shutter on one of my headlights was stuck on high beam. Was able to free it up by applying some "persuasion" to the solenoid plunger after removing the cover on the back of headlight. It felt like it had gone over-center and I was able to pop it free. Works fine now. I did it with the headlight removed, but I'm sure it could be done just by removing the cover while still in the car.
