And couldn't be happier.

Kind of cool I tweeted Ralph on the way to the dealer (I'm @1FLATOUT1) to pick it up and he responded with "welcome to nirvana".

Bad ass car so far, love the ride, interior, and brakes. Haven't had the chance to work it very hard as I am still getting it broken in. Did great in stop and go traffic on the way in, and just took it out for lunch with a co worker. So far so good.

Thanks everyone else, not sure what to do first really. I have a clear bra being install next wednesday and a full clear cut planned to get everything fresh. Really exploring the nano coatings to help with the upkeep of the black paint.

After that I have a set of smooth tubes, and an under drive pulley lying around that I might throw on.

I get out there from time to time, not a track rat though. I come from a drag racing background similar to Nineball. I will get the car out hopefully a couple times a year and the rest of the time it will be blasting the back roads. I had so much fun tracking my ACR the time or two I did it, that I have to get back out!

The best way to enjoy a black car is to have the whole thing clear bra'd (wrapped).. The shop that clear bras all my cars has one black super rare Mercedez AMG CLK DTM car. They wrapped the whole car,and you can wash, wipe do what you want,and it's amazing that you never have to worry about swirls, hair line scratches etc..

What a nice looking ride... Congrats! Having had my 13 GTS on several road trips now, and also owning a '99 ACR, I think you'll be particularly happy when you hit your first road trip. Great color but have fun keeping it clean. lol I say this since my 13 is a Shadow Blue which is also very dark and hard to keep clean. But boy howdy do they look good when they are clean! Again, CONGRATS!

It's the updates that did it. I noticed it in the FGT as well (old 2005-2006 technology) I like to drive my cars quite a bit having all the same stuff my Grand Cherokee has is nice. Also the road presence and exterior styling were a big reason. The ACR's have road presence in spades but the Gen V's with the added aero pieces have a lot as well. Throw in the SRT Hood and those headlights and you have a winner.

Not necessarily, the cars are very, very evenly matched. Also a lot of the roads we hit are high speed where the ACR aero really works. A mid sized, or smaller track like MSR Houston the TA will do well but big speed stuff the Gen IV ACR's are quite bad ass. And both Shooter and blk_fxstc are great road coarse drivers. In a straight line I'll feel comfortable but only because of my roll racing/drag racing past.
