View Full Version : Input shaft for T56 Gen 3

The input shaft on my 2006 needs replacing. Heard they discontinued making them in 2014. Also 5th gear has a chip however can find that. Anyone know where I can fine an input shaft for a T56? An option would be to go with a 6060 however probably a lot cheaper to replace shaft if can find one.

Are you sure it's the shaft and not the bearing?

Give George Greppen a call at Rockland Standard Gear. They are the folks that make the transzilla transmissions. They sell parts for the DIY guys.

2006 has a unique input shaft. Has 2 stripes, it only matches to a 2 stripe counter shaft, and also has unique 2nd gear. Some 2005-2006 had it, also some 2006 viper cars. Super hard to find. 5/6 gears were also discontinued for ,03-06 they too were unique to vipers due to the one piece counter shaft
