Carroll Shelby Guitars! WOW.

Not sure on the 0 - 60 time but I bet someone could play a good version of Wipeout. :)

Less a collector, more a player. My Ibanez acoustic took me all over the U.K. (Literally took me, as I played to pay my way) but now I am fortunate enough to have a Taylor that is my guitar for shows. Those are petty cool though. Especially for you electric guys out there. I just dabble with electric. I can't afford these beauties but if I could, I would probably twist the panties of every guitar collected in the world when I plugged it in and started playing it. Maybe even giggin it. To me, no matter how rare and beautiful, if they sound good, they are meant to be played.

For those of you collectors looking for an awesome display piece, check this out. Since my musical hero Willie Nelson wouldn't sell me his guitar, (for a cool guy he was wildly unreasonable about. He wouldn't even entertain any offer. Weird right?) anyway I got one of these instead

The quality is amazing and everyone always asks about this as I have it up in the Viper front room/bar and the customer service at this company is great. They have a huge selection of famous guitars (famous because of an artist, custom to the artist) or just famous as being a highly sought after model. They are about a foot high and come with a stand. Pefect size for office or bar or whatever. Here is the home page.

If anyone gets anything from them let me know. I love to talk guitars. Like cars there is an endless appeal to people and it's always fun to find out what makes someone dig a certain guitar.

Shouldn't they play "Hot Rod Lincoln"? Though that was more or a bass line in there, the right guitarist could whip it up pretty good.no wait...Mustang Sally. I suppose it only makes sense.

I've been gathering guitars for a while now. Own somewhere over 60, mostly electrics of all makes and models. Love to play, just wish I could play well.
For anyone in Texas the Dallas Guitar Festival is May 2nd thru May 4th at the texas State Fairgrounds. I have flown in from Ohio for the last 5 or 6 years. It is billed as the biggest guitar show around. Thousands of guitars and the best players in the world on four stages. If you like guitars and great guitar players it is the place to be. The Saturday night jam is huge. look at guitarshow.com

I have a solid rosewood telecaster.
It has no fret board since the neck is just, well rosewood along with the body.
It is strictly used with a fender twin reverb amp... with old tubes.
weighs a ton

I'm a gigging musician and a guitar tech. I could tell you about the guitars, but maybe I'll just post a picture each day...4290

Me! Have been so for quite a while. I have a mix of custom electric's and acoustics from Fender to Ovation. I'm also lefty so sometimes it's a wee difficult to find me guitars locally.

Been lucky enough to meet Glen Campbell and Keith Urban a few times. Went to Richie Sambora's high school too.

My friend builds guitars, and managed to do this for me. It took me by surprise, as I didn't know he was going to throw the logo on the instrument. Here is something I built..... 4418

Oh man, DON FELDER SIG MODEL!!!!! By day I repair and modify guitars and basses. I also do the private buy/sell thing, rotating inventory. Guitar shows/swap meets are a great way to achieve constant selling and acquisitions. Sorry, I have to go through my pictures to see how I will retaliate after that Felder guitar......
