Had some time yesterday. Switch is rated at 1000 Amps for 30 second.

Nice!

I know they make one that comes with a fob as well. I have not seen them personally, but I have heard good things.
But, a simple switch is certainly less complicated in many ways.

Yes, but that takes 15 sec. It just part of my routine now.

Good idea. I'm assuming you can reach it through the rear bumper rather than having to leave the trunk open. Also, how do you reset the window limits?

Yes, to reach in the rear bumper.

Window reset takes 10 seconds total, all the way down then up,,,, then up and hold for 3 seconds you should hear a click. Finished.

Then the next time you open the door make sure it rolls up when you close it.

I only turn off the battery for storage. Most store with a charger. I work on my car alot and the disco switch make turning off power so easy.

I have seen a lot of people use these as well at car shows and such.

Remote control battery disconnect (https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Remote-Control-Master-Disconnect/dp/B07DFM2NJ3/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=remote+control+battery+di sconnect&qid=1642350952&sprefix=remote+control+battery+disc%2Caps%2C82&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzMlM3TDc3WFoyTU1TJ mVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwOTcxNTk4SDI2TDkxQzQwMVZVJmVuY3J 5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTA5NDEwMzIyT0Q0RU8ySE5MN1RZJndpZGdld E5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm9 0TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==)

I cannot testify to the quality or reliability, but they seem to be relatively popular.
I can't be as reliable as a physical/mechanical switch, but saves from reaching under the car.

Text shows only 180 Amp rated, I don't think it would start the Viper? 1000 Amp but for how long? As the connection gets hot... Also there has to be some draw on the battery for the receiver. Still would be nice to have a button!

That is just an example. You would have to do some searching to find one with the ratings you desire, if it exists. I know there are some that do indeed work on Vipers. When I was looking at purchasing, I came across 3 that had the wireless disconnect. I think all 3 vehicles were in FLA where I am sure is ground zero for car theft...or at least a hot bed.
