All,

To prepare for a potential sale of my 96GTS in the future, I am wanting to make it absolutely perfect. One of the things preventing it from perfection is the weatherstripping on the drivers side door frame that was worn down due to since-corrected door sagging. Does anyone have a lead on a replacement for this part(assume it is a straightforward DIY job?). I did my best searching for this on the forum, but it seems everyone's focus for weatherstripping is on the stanchion!

Separately, interested to hear if folks think taking drivers side bolster(also pictured) to an upholsterer to have corrected would be better for value? Or just leave it as original?

Thanks as always for any help!!!

Thanks Dave! I did a quick search and it looks like that part number shows up as fitting 01-02, not ‘96. Would there be any changes that would stop this part from fitting a 96? Can’t imagine, but want to check with the experts before laying out the $$.

Thanks!

It depends on where you look for those part numbers. Some places list it for ‘99-02 some say ‘97-02 and I did see it on one Mopar website that said ‘96-02. Check out RockAuto, I think they have the cheapest price on it.

Thanks all for the great info! I’ve ordered and received 4763879ae(a.k.a. “OEM 140” in case it’s helpful to others in future).

Does anyone happen to have the page handy from the service manual to replace this? I searched online but couldn’t find a video/diy guide for this.

Thanks!!

Is it the same part # for an rt? I would think not.
