Ok, so if you're like me, you've snuck the snake out of the garage a few times this winter. But you all know when the real first drive happens-the first windows-down or top-off drive of the year. Mine was yesterday. Had yours out? Are you one of those lucky people who lives in a region where it never stopped? Let's see some pics!

Had my 03 out a coupla times, hope to have the top down this Saturday...we'll see.
In south Florida it's rare that you don't have a beautiful sunny day to take your car out. If you in the northern states it's great when spring finally comes.

How do you decide between the Gallardo and the Viper? It strikes me that I'd probably be in the same mood when I wanted to drive either of those cars.

Love the ACR. Where did you snap this pic?
Beautiful photo! Reminds me of Disney's The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, the bridge:

Got busted by the cops yesterday, first time I've ever been pulled over for speeding in my life.
I must have said just the right thing (also, I wasn't really going that fast; I wasn't looking but I was maybe doing 55 in a 45. He said it wasn't about how loud it was, but I think that was what attracted him; he didn't have radar or anything). Anyway, he didn't even take my license back to the car with him, he just handed it back and said, "I know it's been a long winter, just be safe."
Whew, guess my insurance premiums will remain low for another day.

Sounds like a nice guy. I should have my first drive of the season this weekend if the snow (and therefore salt) holds off until then.

Fixed the tiny coolant leak (hose connection) that's been driving me crazy for the last year or so.... Yeah, I finally had a good short drive in the ol' gen 1.

I am lucky to enjoy my Viper already since beginning of March. We had quite some very nice days since then with temperatures up to 20°C which is unusual for this time of the year in my area...

Europe? Also, how's the RT/10 to drive? Only iteration of the Viper I haven't sat in. I'm 6' (1.83M) so I'd worry that my head would stick out.

I'm 6.3', no problem with headroom. I did lower my seats though - made a huge difference for toe-heel shifting, as my legs wont hit the steering wheel now :)

Yes indeed, Germany to be specific. How's the RT/10 to drive? Well, awesome! Especially on a nice summer evening!!!

You must be a rock star over there. I've seen so many 911s and Ferraris in Europe, never a Viper.

German rock stars don't drive Vipers so much, I think Mercedes S class is their favourite :smilielol:
So, I'd rather be no rock star and enjoy my Viper....
