Did about 3 laps and brake light is going on. It looks like red brake shoes with a lightning bolt?

I have race pads and fresh srf. Can I just ignore it or am I going to die soon?

Electronic brake sensor wire to let you know when pads are worn down. It's possible the wire is broken, or the little clip is un-plugged.
You should check it. If the wire is broken or unclipped and you still have lots of pad, then it's just an annoying light :)

I've had this issue. Is there an easy way to determine which corner has the wire issue? Do the corners come up on a scan tool?

Where is it?
I just swapped in new pads

Do the replacement pads have sensors in them or not? As long as the pedal feels good and it's seat of the pants is good and you're not scared I'd keep on driving it. Take your lawyer hat off and put your engineer hat on.

My bad, I just assumed they did.

Lawineer, if your pads are equipped with sensors, then there would be a wire that connects with a clip. On my ACR the wire is run along-side the A-arm.
Perhaps non-CCB cars do not have the sensors? Sorry, I can't be more help.

Turns out it’s for the electronic throttle, not brakes. Go figure. I was only concerned because it cut power down.
Turned off Auto-blip and it solved the problem.

Lol, no, no, no. I’ve done countless track days haha. First time on track in this particular car.

Viper would be an aggressive start. I’ve seen it before though. Almost crashed on lead follow haha

Track rule ........"Almost" only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades.

I started with a Gen IV ACR, no issues here :)

And getting out of lead follow/ getting solo'ed, lol. He "almost" crashed into the car in front of him so it was a big deal.

True story, swear on it. I took my boss at the time, because he just got a new to him 997 911 Turbo S. I was coaching him, and it was lead follow. I told him to let the viper go first. He didn't want to be last (it was4/5 vs 5/5) and I told him to be cautious of a viper in a beginner group. Sure as shit, he somehow almost hits the evo in front of him. Still remember it clear as day - blue evo, turn 2.
