Gen v ta number 21 white

I like to introduce myself to this forum. My name is Giancarlo I’m the owner of the white ta for sale on eBay and that was on bat. I was just told by another viper owner about this forum. From the research I did on this forum I can see there was talk about my car at one time or another . I’m glad to answer any questions if you have.

As of now I’m enjoying it. If I get my price I will sell it . It’s a great car. I havant seen a ta this clean and not tampered with. Most of them have been tuned, this one is stock that’s what makes me love it . Well see as of now I’m a happy owner of this car

Lol it’s true everyone I’ve seen have had either ,cats removed , turbo installed , I’ve seen them with a/c vents falling out of the dash loll . I’m all about making your car faster And I totally understand it. I just like factory’s cars just my preference.

If your stock cats are still on the car, your sills can start to yellow. I wouldn't balk at removing the cats on any viper, but especially a white one.

I live in nyc your not passing inspection without cats . So far I’m lucky nothing is yellow . Mileage is low so I’m guessing I’m still ok for now .

I am the original owner of White TA #21. I am happy to see you are enjoying the car.
If I would have kept that car I would have replaced the cats with hiflo units. The stock cats will yellow your sills on a white car and will also ruin the ppf on the sills. My guess is that if the ppf on the sills hasn't been replaced yet, it will need it before long if you don't switch over to the hiflo cats. Give Jon B a call and he can set you up with what you need.
Tim Kirlin who owns MotoFX did the original ppf on my White #21 and Orange #33 and they were the best jobs I had ever seen, so if you see any peeling, bubbling or yellowing of the ppf it wasn't that way when I owned it.

Hi Brian nice to meet you . I saw u commented on the car when it was on bat . I had no control of that auction I had a broker so couldn’t answer you. You sold me a great car , the rocker panels are still white it’s still under 5000 miles. Well see what it brings down the line . Do the different cats make it sound better ? I know I have the price on the high side but that’s bc the car is so nice with low miles. N I love it don’t want to give it away I just don’t have time to drive it . Do you still have your orange 1 ?

Welcome to the group. Our cars are basically the same car with the same story. I have #23 at 5400 miles and bone stock as well. I do have pinky nail size yellowing at the corner of my sill. At this point what’s done is done and I won’t screw with the paint. If I ever sell I will consult with a potential buyer concerning what to do about it as well as any potential exhaust mod to keep it from happening again or getting worse

Agreed, I’m glad I got a chance to see the post before he deleted it. I don’t get why he feels the need to shit on other Gen Vs just to build his up. I mean we know your TA is awesome, I have one just like it. Difference is I’ve driven mine for 20k+ miles which apparently means I need to double check and make sure my vents aren’t falling out. Lol

That black TA is gorgeous. Looks amazing. Guys/girls looks like we got off on the wrong foot. I’m not trying to shit on anyone’s car . I didn’t say every car is tuned. I said most of them. When I mean tuned I mean after market parts not factory. After market parts don’t make a car bad. When I was shopping I was finding a lot of junk. When I mean junk I mean cars that were falling apart. Yes ! Vents falling out , broken seats , doors that sounded like someone forgot there wrenches in the door panel and then put it back together . That’s all I’m saying. Every car should be enjoyed. Im sure there plenty of beautiful cars out there . Drive it all day that’s what there made to do. I wish I had more time to enjoy this one myself .

All of the Gen 5’s I’ve seen sound like someone left there wrench in the door when they close!
