When I saw your post, I just looked at the pictures again and saw the comments by the seller. WOW, what the heck. I have never seen unless the vehicle was a daily driver and driven in salty conditions.

I'd be asking what the frame looks like that is cover by the bottom car length diffuser, right?

LOL ! I thought that I mistakenly opened up a Ferrari/Corvette/Porsche forum !

I hope that the explanation is that he took it out at Bonneville for some beauty shots. Or, maybe took it out of the garage on a sunny winter day and accidentally drove it on a salty road. Sacrilege!

I have not seen that before and we're about as close to the ocean as you can get. It's odd imo, but if it were a real problem (i.e. left outdoors or displayed in a lot) then it would show itself in other areas of the car such as under hood and under body.

I must be the only one who doesn't care for that paint scheme.

You must not have seen one IRL. Black is terrific on this car. Always has been.

Anyway, I previously had all SE car values pegged at the $220k-$240k range. I recently bumped up the top of range by $10k due to the #001 GTSR outlier car. So I now see the range at $220k-$250k.

This SE is a desirable series car with the lowest production numbers at just 28 cars. Miles are good. My guess on this one is $242.5k.

I dont like the center stripe with the one offset stripe to begin with, but I also dislike the shade of blue in the DE. I like the RWB color scheme a lot better. Black with red stripes, especially these stripes, isn't my fancy.

My car is black, haha. Black with the darker gray (gunmetal) stripes and carbon (splitter, side skirts, wing, interior, etc) accents. I love the black. I think it looks absolutely incredible, especially when taken care of. I just don't like it with the red stripes (or most other colors unless its very dark). It's subtle and matches the carbon trim.

Otherwise, I think stripes should generally be left to brighter colors like the LE (or the inverse of it). I also really like the white with the black + red stripe, navy + white, and a few others too.

Policy your friends, if any, must hate you. You are like the Eveready Bunny and just keep going. Getting really old.

No one will buy or value your car because of a stupid dash plaque. It would be because they like the model and color combo. Period. When a manufacturer makes 27% of its last year of production special editions they are not so special. What they are is ACR-E with generally very desirable color combinations. Sticking your nose in the air because a certain vehicle lacks a dash plaque makes you seem really small.
