Gen V Taillight Removal

Been searching with no luck and was hoping someone could give me a crash course on removing the taillgihts.

Cover your bumper in painters tape if you are doing it alone. Youll need the protection when you disconnect the opener, camera, license plate lights etc.

Remove the remove plastic retention clips at top…about 10 of them or so.

Remove 4 bolts from behind each light (8 total)

From there you need to use force to remove. Some plastic pry bars may come in handy. It doesn’t come out easily.

This is a time consuming task. FYI: the rear inner fender liners have to be removed to access one bolt on each side. Don't force anything until you remove them.
