Keep it simple - if you don't want rust, go with something stainless. If you don't want it shiny, paint it black. I personally like the look of 12-point heads (ARP), but not all do.

Thank you everyone!
Just ordered the ARP's...

The ARP will rust as well.
Your profile says ST JO MO. Like said Joe where the offroad park is?

Well, I’ll have to cancel the ARP then. Any other links that won’t rust?
Will DSE bolts rust?

Being anodized aluminum, they won't corrode.

Also, where about in St. Joe do you live? I played football up at MWSU a few years ago.

They will still get surface rust.
I've used them over the year for various LS builds and they get surface rust them.
Take WD40 and wipe them clean but they still get surface rust.

Another vote to be creative. I went with some burnt titanium to match my engine covers.

Small world!
I lived right by Hyde Park in St. Joseph then moved to Stewartsville to get out of the city.

I don't blame you. I lived on campus all 4 years as it was a stipulation of my scholarship. I live and work about 40 minutes South of you.

So these washers won’t rust, correct?
And would black titanium be good for not rusting?

Yes…Titanium and aluminum do not rust. You’ll be fine with that combo.

I wonder why you all having rust issues with these bolts.. I've daily driven my Vipers and havent experienced these rusting... ? Leftover salt from winter snow roads?

Sounds like he replaced the OEM initially with something containing some iron.

The nice thing about the DSE washers is the cover the entire “x brace ring” including the side. Its more of a cap then a washer.

Doesn’t look like it’s a perfect match for non carbon x-brace…

Good catch. Completely assumed we were talking carbon brace.

Titanium bolts and washers for non carbon fiber x-brace turned out perfect.
Dress Up Bolts was very nice to deal with! Took to UPS right after our phone call and had them 2 day shipped.
Came even packaged nicely.
