Last time I had used the Viper (2015 GT) , I had the heater on with A/C vents in the footwell area only (late March/Early April). Recently I got the Viper out and decided to turn on A/C but even though I give the UConnect Screen the command to adjust the vents from footwell area to upper dash vents, they would not move to the upper vents. I feel Cold Air coming from the footwell, but no matter what I can't seem to get the A/C vents to move from this position. The Uconnect screen displays that the vents have changed, but they don't physically adjust.

Last week I disconnected battery for about 30 minutes, and when it started the vents worked but went right back to footwell set up within seconds. I have had an appointment with 2 Dodge dealerships in my area but they both refused to work on car because they claim I they do not have anyone trained to work on it.

I found a dealer that claims they would look at it, but they have a 2 week waiting list. While I don't mind waiting, I am curious if any owners have had this issue and was able to resolve without the dealer looking at? Let me know your thoughts.....

Same exact issue here. What I found out by other member with same issue: "broken A/C blend door actuator, dash needs to be removed to replace it". Basically it is a servo motor that opens and closes a door directing the desire air flow. I think there are 4 or five blend doors in our A/C system.

Sounds like the same issue here. Resolution at the bottom of the thread.

I'd venture to guess it's the actuator or the door getting stuck. Not fun :(

Removing the dash is the issue
