Gen 3 Powersteering issues

I have an 06 Coupe that I just purchased. A few days after I purchased it, the High pressure hose blew on the highway. Just replaced those with the braided lines and then my rack blew a few minutes after installing new lines. I now replaced the powersteering pump and put in a new rack. Steering is still pretty hard. Can it have something to do with the cooling fan?

When I did mine the trick was to jack the front of the car and run the rack lock-to-lock, engine running. Removes all the air in the system. Run the AC on full path the same time. I did this nice and slow for 10 min. shut the car off and went to bed. Repeat the next day after a fluid top-off. I only did the lines and pump, no rack. Hope this helps.
