Dash name plate removal

I apologize if this has already been covered. Does someone have details on how to remove the dash name plate or plaque on a Gen V?

I believe Doug Shelby made a little tool to help with removal (He has custom Name plaques).

I think his plate goes on top of the current OEM plate. Someone may chime in that has more info.

I thought I read somewhere that dealers can remove them. I know mine came with an extra that just says "ACR" In case you want to swap for a sale or something.

The back side is 2 plastic push in style pins. Here is one guys method.

I had a time removing mine, hated how it looked as an overlay wich is how dse intended

It sounds to me like the Gen 1/2 wheel center cap removal tool might be the hot ticket to getting under these things to pop them off.
