Here's another 10 lbs gone! 8 lbs semi sprung and another 2 lbs off the nose. Car will be 2930 lbs with no fuel in it after these are installed. We are doing a full rewire in July, hoping that will save 70 lbs including the dash. Hoping to be close to 2850 lbs after that is done. Check out these parts along with all of Doug's other cool stuff here- https://www.dougshelbyengineering.com/collections/gen-5

What are the CF bits? I don't recognize them.

The splitter extension support cables attach to these behind the front bumper. The factory are steel, I'm running Doug's aluminum ones now, but these are even lighter.

Put a bunch of go fast goodies in a car...and then add lightness!

Arizona,

2930 lbs dry is quite an accomplishment.

I can't even image how much lighter your bank account is by now.lol

Great job, I bet that thing is the terror of ever track you run that monster on.

Best be more careful when crashing curbs. CF is more likely to fail completely instead of bending and holding on. But you knew that already.

Best way to add lightness now is tube chassis. Easy to be 150-200lbs lighter.
