I installed high flow cats and I'm absolutely in love. The car sounds so much better.
I'm wondering if a little upgrade is good, then a lot of upgrade must be better right?

I'm also wondering if I should stop here if I'm happy with it...

Anyone have any opinion based on experience of sound clips?

Video of the car now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HZo80OAARG0

Someone in one of my local facebook car groups posted it not knowing me or that I was in the group

I don't think I want headers- seems like a lot of work and cost and it just makes it louder. Do you have a catback? I would have bought the cats though!

Belanger high flow cats with the corsa catback sounds fantastic! Highly recommend that combo. Mean AF at wide open throttle but just cruising sounds little louder then stock and no drone.

You definitely do. I’m pretty impressed with what a $700 mod and 4 hours of install can accomplish. It was exactly what this car needed to match its menacing appearance.
The multiple restrictive cats just reflected sound all over and it sounds all messed up. You get a crisp, sharp sound now. It's "clean." You can hear every exhaust pulse from each cylinder firing. Before it was all garbled together for this crappy droning sound that just resonated through the cabin. I honestly think inside the cabin might be quieter because exhaust isn't getting bounced back. It's just following a clean path out.

I have an extra set of high flow downstream cats, if anyone is interested, only in car for a couple 100 miles, then I got headers. Best thing I ever did when I installed my Bellanger headers was leave the factory mufflers. I just can't deal with the drone that happens when the mufflers are changed. I agree quite a bit of cost to add headers and all of the extra heat shielding necessary. I had the passenger side exhaust fall off 3 times because it breaks the bolts. Should be noted my car is heavily tracked, street drivers may not experience this problem as I have. Solution, we cut off the accordion flex pipe from the original headers and added near where the downstream cat was. Even so, I would still add V-band clamps on any header install.

If you do headers (of any brand) and are tracking your car, you will enter a new world of melting stuff. You'll have to wrap every wire near your headers, most common melted item is 02 sensors. I melted everything, even my entire fusebox until I just wrapped my headers and that solved everything.

Hey I might be interested in your Set up, depending on price!. Though might just eventually cut the high flow cats whenever I go get the car tuned and add nitrous down the road. Nonetheless I am interested in it.

thanks, that's good to know. Is it okay with stock manifolds or do I need to worry about heat?

Doesn’t surprise me. Factory pipe is basically a straight pipe. It has no baffles

I actually just installed the passenger side Belanger hi-flow cat today. Going to do the driver side tomorrow morning. I am running the stock muffler system and you are right, I looked down the muffler today and it’s basically just a straight pipe haha.
