Very nice! Are you running a different set-up now? ....And what's your tire choice for track use with these wheels?

Thanks! Car is retired and will eventually be for sale. I used Micheilns or Pirelli slicks on these wheels. These are my favorite wheels for sure.

Here are some pics I took today. Pretty wheels. Not perfect but beautiful for track wheels.

Wow, you really are moving on from the Viper.

How's your C6 engine coming along? I thought you were doing some upgrades. It's a shame Tony hasn't tried his hand at these Viper engines. The LS market is just so huge that he gets it from every angle.

He just sent me an email. Head should be done in a few weeks. Then off to the builder for assembly.

The Viper is an incredible car. My issue is that I want to go racing pretty regularly and I am unwilling to cut it up.

Okay, here is something you may or may not be interested in pursuing. I ordered a set of Finspeed F14s for my Corvette track car. Because I need a special (shallow) backspacing for the rears, they had to use a rare Daytona Prototype forging. Unfortunately, due to a CNC data entry error (a plus instead of a minus), the backspacing came out wrong for my use, but could be correct for a C6 application. Finspeed has offered a full refund, but I have been holding out in hope they could source another DP forging (they only have one in stock) - no luck so far. The wheels are 18X12 front with an 8.5" backspace. The rears are 18X13 with an 8.125" backspace. They are Corvette hub centric and built to clear AP brakes. The wheels are satin charcoal, lightened, with full bead knurls. They are still in the box and have never been mounted. My thoughts are that Daniel at Finspeed might be willing to offer you a deal if I return them. You don't want to pay the price I paid since I had to pay extra for the DP forgings, which is now NA. PM me if you want to discuss.

Thanks! Beautiful wheels! Too bad they won't work for you. It's always something it seems. That's very unfortunate.

I have 4 sets already for the C6 and don't need another but I definitely appreciate the thought!! I find two sets of slicks, one set of Pirellii rains and a set of R888's, which I use if it's dry but too cold for slicks, seems to always get me through the weekend.

Sweet wheels! Those look super nice.

Thanks a lot. They are my favorites. I like bronze on a number of different color cars. I wish I had the factory brass monkey wheels on mine.

The Signatures are going to look pretty fantastic as well. I am having them refinished in a Gunmetal Gray Gloss. I saw some BBS wheels for a Porsche Turbo at the shop in that color and they looked great. Hopefully someone likes them.

After your comment about Signature wheels, I contacted them and they have a couple of forgings that will accommodate the shallow backspace I need. I don't know much about Signature. Do they hold up well as track wheels with slicks? Any known issues? Weight?

Thanks

Pappy

Forged wheel. Lightweight. Still true round upon checking them. I really like them. I will put up pics when they are finished. The look great and proved to be extremely durable.

If they provide their load rating test, you can generally get a good idea how strong they are. I imagine the weakest points is the inner wheel barrel, where the spokes aren't present to provide support. The SW2 on my TA are very soft and have repaired the inner barrel several times after a few minor off-track events.
If you're interested in a lower cost option to Forgelines, from my several years of track use (~10-12 HPDE days/year), the BC-Forged RZ39 are still holding up on the ACR.

Thanks for the input. I run Finspeeds on my ACR and Forgelines on the Corvette. The Forgelines are 3-piece (GA3Rs) out of necessity due to a weird, shallow backspace on the rears. Forgeline could not build a one-piece, shallow backspace 13 inch wheel. I also have a set of older HRE 5-spoke, 3-piece forged wheels, but I saw a tendency for some wheel flex and I have very little clearance between the spokes and caliper. I was looking for a strong, light-weight, one-piece wheel. I just got word from Finspeed that they had obtained new Daytona Prototype forgings so they can build the one-piece forged wheels for the rears - so problem solved.

Sorry for the hijack Racingswh, but it keeps your Finspeed wheel add ttt.

No sweat. I just bought 2 sets of BC Forged myself for the C7Z we just added to the track car pile. Price is right and claimed turnaround was faster than the others.

Glad you got the Finspeed situation solved. Too bad the first set was incorrect. Look forward to seeing that car finished.

CCW's are sold. So are the one set of iron rotors and brake pads as well. The other new set of iron brake rotors and compatible pads are still available. Finspeeds and Signatures still available. If anyone wants this stuff make me offers. I want someone to use it instead of it sitting here.

Those Signature wheels look similar to the BCForged RZ39, which might allow me to run mixed wheel without being so obvious.
Are those the Signature SV103 or SV501?
What are the spec?

SV501 They are Gen V ACR-E with CCB caliper fitment. Hyper black. 18 x 11 front and 18 x 13 rear. True round and come with Gen V TPMS sensors. $3500 shipped anywhere in the lower 48 US states.

Shame, I can't use the rears.

I would run the 305/645/18 Pirelli slick fronts or the 30/65/18 Michelin slick fronts and the 325/705/18 Pirelli rears or 310/710/18 Michelin rears. The last time when you and I were out at Thunderbolt in the fall I was using these exact Signature wheels I just posted the pic of with Michelin slicks mounted on them in those sizes.

Thanks AZ!! What's funny is I was just thinking this morning about how much business you and I have done over the years. I have gone my fastest on your takeoff slicks!! You have always been the best source for tires in the best condition.
