A little sneak preview... My new Forgeline GSR1 wheels came in and now have a set of R7s mounted on them for track duty on my ACRE. I can't wait to get to break these in at Miami next month! Thanks to Jerry Robinson and Bobby Archer for working the order and a preemptive thanks to Jerry for putting them on his trailer to get them to Miami and back.

Gorgeous...definitely jealous of those wheels.

Did you happen to grab the weights of them by any chance?

Thanks. I didn't get a weight on them but I'll be checking that once I get my hands on them. I don't actually have the wheels currently since they are with Jerry which he's hauling to Miami for me.

Nice :) 19's?
Do these fit over the stock ACR-E brakes?

Make sure the wheel weights clear the caliper. Sometimes they have to be moved inboard.

Yes sir. Jerry is already going to check that for me and get them moved if need be. We were discussing that the location looks to be in line with the caliper so could be an issue.

Those are very nice rims. But I think you got ripped off on the tires. There's no tread.lol

Also if using the ACR brake ducts mounted on the lower control arm, you'll need to trim the edge to avoid rubbing against the inside barrel and possibly knocking out the wheel weight.

Beautiful!
This sounds like a nice option. Can you share or PM me any details? I likey.

Haha. I’m going to have to file a complaint!

Thanks for the tip. I’ll have to check for clearances on that.

Forgeline GS1R-6 in Gunmetal. 18x11 front and 18x13 rear. Will fit on the ACRE CC brakes (although I’ve swapped for steel brakes). Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Looking good! I hate black wheels. Great color choice!

Sweet looking wheels. Curious why you chose 18" inch vs 19"... weight savings?

I chose it for cost savings with tires but also that I’ve seen a few folks reporting a bit of issue with 19/19 and TC or ABS. The tire diameter ratio front to back is a little closer to OEM for Hoosiers on the 18/18.

Thanks! Ironically I had wanted a different grey type of color (transparent smoke) that they recommended I avoid due to heat from tracking causing issues with that particular color. It’s a multiple stage paint to create a smoke effect. So, I just said to go with Satin Black because I didn’t want to spend anymore time stressing over a color choice (I’d already spent a considerable amount of time getting to my first choice. Haha). It was accidentally put in as Gunmetal but I’m really happy because it turns out to be very close to what I wanted originally.

Fit check before you arrive at the track. Mount them and drive around the block or something Small adjustments may be needed in the ebrake.

18” front and rear and they do fit.

Be prepared to see a lot of scoring on the barrel where the caliper is. It scared me at first, but we showed pics to Forgeline and they said the wheel wasn't compromised. My calipers are so far shaved down at this point it doesn't happen anymore. LOL

What size Hoosiers are you running on those?

I had to bend the e-brake cable brackets inward slightly to clear the 18 inch wheels.
