What are you trying to do?

1. Pass a sniffer emissions test?
2. Pass a plug-in (OBDII) emissions test?
3. Pass a visual inspection?
4. Clean up the exhaust smell without losing a ton of power?

Any aftermarket high flow cat will be less durable and not scrub the exhaust as well as an OEM cat. An OEM cat will not flow nearly as well as an aftermarket version though, so you'll lose power.

As with pretty much anything in life, the answer is: it depends.

Anywho I have a set of 3" metallics I'm not using since I don't use cats anymore. Can't remember the brand. Probably Randoms. Which are the best brand by the way. Or whatever it is that Belanger uses. Call Lou if you have a few spare hours to talk about cats and performance.
