After searching on this forum and doing a little investigating, seems either kumho ecsta acr extremes or r888r's are considered the best. I'm not looking for Dr as I want to be able to autocross and road course the car.

So which tire is best for straight line....or another tire?

Wouldn't doubt they are similar, what would you put on the front though? They used to have a Ecsta street tire for the front, but they only go up to 265 now.

This is a new option too if you wanted to get really ambitious.

I would use the kumhos for the front too...tire rack has them ..295's.

The RR's look interesting, getting caught in the rain is my only worry with these.

oh ok I assumed you had 18's on the front. Is your GTC an ACR?

No. I looked at the wrong size, thought I was looking at the correct size for fronts. You were correct originally and thank you.
