We have one congressional seat that is "up for grabs" down here in Texas (South West Houston). Something big is going on here.....The candidates are spending so much money is has to be seen to be believed. Just a non-important Representative slot. We must be getting 5 and 6 flyers a day in the mail BY EACH SIDE. The candidates themselves NEVER could have raised this much money. Not going to get into the who should win debate. Just noticing the money....The ads on TV are non-stop. This representative race has 10 to 1 spending compared to the Presidential election. Maybe 100 to 1.

Any races that just blow you out of the water on the money being spent?

Ours if Troy Nells vs. Sri Kulkarni

Senate, at least those contested like here in Michigan, are crazy. I heard around $100M! Mostly west and east coast money. The presidential election is also crazy. Huge democratic spending advantage, like 2016.

I've not seen anything out of the ordinary around here except for the ridiculously long lines for early voting. It'll be interesting to see if this will help ease the rush on election day, or if it is a sign of a potentially large turnout.

Either way, my vote has already been cast through Ohio's absentee system, which was remarkably easy and efficient. It was nice to sit there with my ballot and go through the candidates for each race at my leisure.

Super easy to vote here in Nebraska also. My wife and I sent in our absentee ballots almost a month ago. Can just relax and watch the count around the Country.

I can tell you who isn't going to win: America.

Yeah, its a shame when you see all the monies spent on campaigning, which could have gone to good causes.

We don't spend quite as much as you guys, but of course many businesses add funds to the campaign.

Oh well, I guess we will have to wait until Wednesday to find out?

Just think all the good they could do with the money they waste. Do something for the people of the US Farmers and All of us. Need to get them back to working for the people. And make America Great Again! The party's have to work for the people not them selves.

Don’t count on knowing on wednesday. Given the potential closeness of the voting and many states are allowing mail in votes to arrive after election day, it could be awhile before we have a definitive result.

I'd guess we won't know anything definitively until around Thanksgiving.

Hoping your newly announced shut down does not last long.

Yeah UK lockdown, so my wife (self employed hairdresser) is out of work again!

We'll survive on my wages (at least I can still work) so all is not lost

As for the election, I'd vote for whichever candidate said the Viper would be put back into production if they get elected :) :) :)
