Was wondering if anyone has these installed could provide input on how well they protect the rocker panels from rock chips. I already have the boomerang splash guards that do a decent job, just looking for a little more protection.
Thanks in advance.

Just use clearbra for protection.
Skirts are intended for downforce and styling... not much protection to any visible areas of the sills....maybe a little underneath.

Thanks for the input BJ. I do have the whole car covered with clearbra and it definitely helps with the rock chips.

If you track your car (or maybe drive it really hard) the clear bra material can melt on the side sills. Not sure if the 3M stuff would melt as it is thicker than other brands. On the other hand the 3M (Scotchguard is it?) looks like crap. I have a friend that has a TA 2.0 and he has melted the clear bra twice. That's why I never bothered to cover the sills with clear bra.

I have the Xtreme side sills! I love the look it adds. As far as rocks i dont think so. I have Carbon Fiber rock chip guards that help protect from that. Viper owner Allen Rafieha on FB makes them, quality stuff.

They do look good. Do you have a close-ups of them? How are they attached?

JonB's Hi-Flow down-pipe addressed the clearBra melting at the front section of the sill, moving the melting downstream just above the driver's side tailpipe exit. Since installing a pair of TKO vented panel, further melting stopped.

They are attached with rivets to the underside of the sills. Very easy install and fast, very solid and secure.

I like those! I might have to get a set! I have PPF coating on the car and sills and if it prevents unwanted warping of the PPF then im in.

Does it cover the entire underside of door sill?

No it does not, it covers maybe 3"-4" or so under the sill.

I found some images on Xtremesupercars facebook page. No images from under the vehicle unfortunately.

I do track the car, and yes, I have some of the PPF warping where you described it, right above the side exhaust exit. I imagine it would only be worse had I not installed the high flow cats from JonB. I will definitely have to look into those wheel vents from TKO, although I can’t figure out why they aren’t powder coated black.

While I too prefer the black, the gray caught a few viper owner's attention at the track, which I suspect may be one reason for their color choice.

I think id only get them too if they were black, not the gray.

Yep, TKO, these need to be available in black. Seems like a great mod but I don't want it sticking out like a sore thumb.
I also like the way the Xtreme side sills look, but I do not like the idea of drilling into the car :(

I had planned to buy a set of the TKO vents and just spray them black with high temp ceramic paint.
