Hey everyone, I am a proud owner of a 2016 Viper GT and am already on here to see if anyone can help me out. Haha. The car is nothing short of amazing but it has the drivers side seat lowering kit installed and it makes the clutch pedal just a slight bit long for me. My question is does anyone know or have a spare stock seat bracket they will either sell me, or want to trade for the lowering kit one? Please help, the only other option is taking HGH and hoping to grow another inch.

Hello AAA96 and wellcome to the club. Have you tried the electronic pedal adjustment switch on the left side of the steering wheel? This will move the pedal assemble forward and backwards. THis may help. Good luck and have some fun with you new ride.

I don't think the clutch pedal moves as part of that assembly

Thanks for the reply! Yes I moved it all the way up toward me and It is just about an inch too far away to be comfortable. So I really need to somehow locate the stock rails. Hmmmm

Listen to SRT Bill and if you also feel like you are sitting in the seat too low, reach out to Jon Brobst at PartRack ( VOA Sponsor ) and see if he may have a stock seat track/support for sale. If so it will be reasonable. Good luck.
Ha, well looks like my note to you went through right as you were posting too --- sounds like a call to Jon B. is your best bet now.

Thank you for the direction. I sent him an email, so we will see if I have any luck.
If anyone knows someone who is interested in trading me a stock for a lowered version, keep me in mind.

Can't you remove the seat and adjust the fixed position of the seat on the rails?

I don’t think so? Any insight from anyone who knows would be helpful before I take the seat out. Thanks everyone for the replies!

AAA96 all our seat lowering kits are adjustable so you can move the drivers seat forward where you need it. We have 6ft 6" customers and 5ft 4" customer all of them use the same seat lowering kits we offer for dodge viper 5th gen. You can also adjust the seat up if you need it with our seat lowering kits. Might be easier then trying to find a factory seat track

So after speaking with Corey at collectors choice it seems as if I can swap the drivers (lowering kit) rail and the passengers stock rail and the problem should be solved. Any one oppose this or for this idea?

Also, is there a difference in the oem seat track/riser for a power vs manual?

I have a stock seat rack and I now realize it's more precious than a 126710 BLRO ;-) Keeping it as a long term investment! (The seat rail...not the Pepsi).

Bill thanks for the link. I am going to take the lowering kit out and drill the 6 mounting holes bigger on the bracket to mount the seat up forward more. If I’m still a little short I will try the pedal kit.

I might suggest you rethink your approach and take SRT Bill's suggestion to go with the pedal kit as well. Far easier to install vs. what you are about to do. I added the extension on my accelerator pedal to make it easier to heel/toe properly and it took less than 5 minutes to install. The three pedals would be 30 minutes tops even if you were taking your time. If it doesn't work, Ipsco will allow returns.

I just sat in the car again and then sat in the passengers side and I really need the stock track back so I can see properly over the hood. I sit far too low since I am not that tall. I am 5’8”. I think my current setup would be fine for anyone 5’9 or taller. So I’m back to square one.
I’m wondering if I remove the current viperstore bracket, if a machine shop can fabricate a 2” spacer for front and rear mounts to go under and lift it up?

the spacer would have to be between the seat and mounting bracket, not between bracket and floor if you were going to do that - so you'd need 6 spacers (3 for each side) and new nuts/bolts. Not sure what that sort of lift on spacers would do to stability

Yes I agree with you on where the spacer/bracket should be.

I'm not as tall as some but looking out my eyes are just above the headliner at the window. I don't have the seat all the way down because I can feel whatever is under the seat and my ass doesn't like that, so I raise it just a hair.
I would like to lower the seat and retain the power adjustment.
