Hi guys just a quick question.
Do our cars have a clutch bleed port and if so where exactly is it? I need to clear/change the fluid in the clutch slave .
Thanks

No clutch fluid bleeder for the Gen 5 - the fluid is shared with the brake fluid reservoir. Should be self bleeding...just need to pump the pedal until it is firm.

What I do is I use a turkey baster to remove the fluid from the reservoir, put in clean fluid, pump clutch 100 times. Repeat that 3x times, or until fluid starts to look clean after pumping the clutch.

Does anyone have any suggestions for what the life expectancy of this fluid is and what type or brand is recommended for regular useage of a GenV.

You can bleed the clutch on 5th gen. Its messy but it works. The self bleed idea doesnt really work if you track the car. We do have an in house race part that allows you to bleed the clutch on a 5th gen similar to gen 3-4. But it requires removing trans and a little bit of work. We havent really released it to the public for this reason.

Yeah it's a good idea to change this fluid out once in awhile. I ruined a track day, car wouldn't go into 1st or 2nd, turned out it was cooked fluid.

Same.
I'm going to start bleeding it when I bleed my brakes.

In the comp coupe's do you have to take the entire tranny out too?

Negative. Remote bleeder under the hood.
I installed a remote bleeder on my Gen IV as well when I put in the BBG clutch and flywheel.
