You can change the unconnect display. The trade off is you lose SRT performance pages.

As far as we know, 13-15 MY lose SRT Performance Pages and you also lose the Viper treatments in the UI and are replaced by Hellcat / generic SRT treatments.

Supposedly, 16-17 does not lose SRT Performance Pages and can be programmed to have the Viper treatments, but I don't think anyone has confirmed this.

Well I have a 16 ACR-E now so this peaks my interest. I may take this risk now and report back as I need a new radio anyway.

EDIT: The page now says ALL Vipers 13-17 lose the pages.

I really considering doing the UAQ to my '13, but ultimately I wanted the performance pages over Carplay/Android Auto because you know..... racecar

Real question is why is performance pages so fucking slow, is there a spinning hard drive there? Swap that out with an ssd.
I remember putting on performance pages before I got on the track at laguna, by the time I was on my 2nd lap it finally loaded.

Mine loads up pretty quick. Maybe ten seconds? When I first got the car I was playing with the settings and saw a background option.
Clicked it, lost my Viper background, no way to get it back that I can find. So if you like the snake, don't change backgrounds. Maybe it's the Viper background that slows it to a crawl. Gotta be something slow to offset everything fast in the car lol. Just kidding I highly doubt it'll do anything, don't ruin your background trying it.

I'm the opposite - I always have it up. Gauge 2 - everything you need, big and bold. And run tire pressure in the center console.

I use gauge 2 also when I'm pretending to be a racer. Just looks cool. That's half the fun of owning the car! I'll save car play for the family cars. As long as my music streams to the car from my phone I'm good. If I could only get my snake background back I'd be back to 100% cool factor.
But I get it, a lot of people would likely use the functions of the UAQ way more often than performance pages. I can respect both sides.
