i created this splitter extension for a friends TA 2.0.

Held sturdy by interior and exterior ACRE struts. Just sharing the creation.... not looking to be schooled on upgrading shocks/struts/suspension or unbalanced downforce....blah blah. :t0152:

Looks great Ben, like all of your work. I do have a serious question...why keep the 2.0 corner splinters in addition to this? Could you just eliminate those and run just the extension?

Aren't those there for all TA/TA2 and aero cars? Not sure you would want to add the front splitter without the TA spoiler at a minimum. Note using the TA front splitter pieces will lower the splitter quite a bit lower than the ACR.

The flare on the bumper or the 2 inch extension

For 2 inch extension...No reason in particular....just a style preference.

Now i see what you are asking. I removed the rubstrip and reused the bolt holes and bolts on the splitters to mount the splitter to.

Basically this is 1 humongous connected rubstrip. It wont provide much more downforce than the rubstrips because the middle part has daylight above and below the splitter. If it was sealed off it would create much more. Air just rushes over and under the center portion. This is more a look thing than downforce addition.

Nice concept. Just like TA2 rubstrips are larger than the TA1, the added size should result in quite bit of additional downforce.
