Over time my Gen2's alignment was slipping on me during track events. Rather than spend $50/control-arm for a new bolt, I built up a home-grown camber plate kit with 1/2" Grade 8 bolts and 1.5" wide x 2" thick 18-8 plate. It has worked to hold alignment but is a pain to adjust. Standard alignment shops won't touch it as the bolt and plate have to be removed. In looking for better options, I found the TKO Camber Plate Kit from a post in the Track section. I like the mixture of easy alignment adjustment and locking system. After exchanging emails with Marty at TKO, we identified that the gap between the adjustment tabs is larger on Gen2 than Gen3+. My Gen2 varies, but is around 1.9" between the tabs. The plates they have are 1.78" wide to fit Gen3+. The good news is that everything else will fit. TKO is willing to do a modified build of the plates for dimensions of Gen2 (possibly also to fit Gen1 if it is the same). I'm in the queue for them to build, probably 30days out or so. If others would like to get a set while they are building for me, reach out to TKO.

That's a really nice kit, and priced attractively. I bought the Comp Coupe tab kit years ago for about 2/3 the price. They are a bit of a pain to change, but they NEVER move after they are set.

My DIY is similar. I was thinking about getting double threaded studs vs a Grade8 bolt to make changing the plates easier. It certainly holds the alignment. No movement at all. I figured that if I'm leaving my DIY, I'll step up to something that is easily adjustable. It's hard to believe that new camber bolts are $50/each. That's robbery.

I'm installing mine on my Gen IV next week. Great product and awesome company. Martin is the man!

I didn't know for a long time that's how the CC's are set up. They have a small hex (5/16"?) at the end of the threads like some newer ball joint studs to keep the main bolt from turning while tightening the nut.
