Driver error this week...backing out in a hurry = scraped rear diffuser.

Can you replace individual fins or do you have to replace the entire diffuser? It's not too noticeable as the car sits low, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I know it's there. Anyone else had to fix or replace?

I've seen some stainless replacment blades for sale, fairly certain you can just replace the blades.

Sand it (grind etc) to smooth it out and paint it. It's at the very bottom of your car, no one is getting down there to see it. You can round all of them off also if you like.

This. I guess the OP is way more anal than I am (and I'm pretty anal!!), because mine might look worse than this. Diffusers and front fascias are going to get scraped up on these cars, period. Gotta live with it.

I may try to sand, paint, and smooth it out as you mentioned. I'm pretty picky and try to keep it pristine, but at this height I knew it would likely happen at some point. If I ever sell the car, I'd want it near perfect.

If wanting it perfect consider a good body shop to sand as required and then repaint the fins using the factory black color. Should look like new then.

I had mine bent and damaged going into a turn off the track going over the candy cane. I was able to repair them (4) by reforming, sanding, followed by primer and paint.
These blades are most likely 2024-T3 aluminum which is soft and easy to work with. There's no need to take them off as you can just mask around them before primer and paint making it easier to reform the blades while installed, besides you would need to drill the fasteners out and find replacements for them as these OEM ones may not be available (not sure).
Looking at your picture it appears the damage on your diffuser is minor, take a crescent wrench and duct tape the ends (fixed and adjustable) to straighten the blades or take a piece of wood and cut a groove deep enough to reach the bend point then sand, primer and paint. It's rather simple and you can save the money for a dozen roses sent to your significant other or :very_drunk:
