Looking for feedback on price...

Currently looking at an '01 GTS. It is red, no stripes, 3,500 miles, aftermarket exhaust, new tires, no accident history, great paint and very clean Cognac interior. The car overall is extremely clean. I beleive its a one owner car, too.

What would you guys/gals say is a fair price for this car? Don't want to low-ball the guy, but don't want to be jipped either.

I'd say 45k seems like a reasonable offer. Considering the low miles, great condition, and cognac interior. Only thing hurting it is that red cars tend to go for slightly less due to the sheer #'s of that color.

I look at the aftermarket exhaust as a bonus too, some probably disagree. But it really gives the viper the sound it deserves and looks better than stock. Not to mention exhaust set-ups on these cars are not cheap.

The exhaust upgrade doesnt bother me one bit. Id be replacing it anyway if it were stock. I think there were 20 red/cognac '01's made. Could be wrong on that number.

Just want to make a fair offer.

Bought my Graphite/Silver stripe GTS with 6901 on odometer at time of purchase for 45000. My GTS was also a one owner car, but completely stock (no exhaust upgrade)

Passed on this one. Seller wouldnt budge from 47k. Plus, I didn't care for the interior too much.

Agreed. Cognac does not help selling a Viper IMO.
Get what you want. I think the Cognac looks great with Black cars but its a bit much with Red, just my opinion ;)
