My Gen 2 never ate a single feathered friend. Found this poor guy in my air box yesterday after a drive locally and I believe this is number 3 for my Gen 5.

Wonder if anyone else's snake eats like mine does?

I saw two kids at a car show a few years back, laying on their bellies looking under the front of my RT/10 and laughing. I look to see what the fuss is about and there is a little bird like yours, with fully spread wings pasted against the rad (trans cooler?).

I saw a pic a couple years back of a Genv V with a bird in the front brake duct.

Snakes gotta eat! haha

Guess we should all check our air boxes once in a while?

While I was driving, I saw the bird fly from left to right in front of the car and didn't see it escape the passenger side. I thought for sure it was down in the radiator area where I found the two other birds previously. When I didn't see it down there I figured he got away. Then as I was getting ready to wash the car I noticed some tell tale signs around the air intake.. sure enough, he was down in the air box. What are the chances?

Sad,seeing that :(

Might be worth putting some kind of mesh in the duct or grille to stop it happening?

Looks like your air filter might need some changing due to birdie skid marks.

Just driving home about 5 miles from a car gathering this AM and the Viper gulped number 4 today..... saw him swoop down as he flew right into the driver side air duct. This is where I found him when I got home:

This must be getting close to a record for a Viper eating birds.

I’ve noticed birds dropping 10-30 feet when they fly low and a car cross’s there path , apparently they loose lift in that situation causing them to sometimes drop and get hit by the car.....
