Hi all - I'm currently working on purchasing my first gen 2 Viper from out of state. Can anyone recommend a reliable transportation company preferably that you have personal experience with? Thank you

Congratulations on your purchase. I used Passport when I bought mine, and would highly recommend them. Reliable comes highly recommended too, but they didn't run a route from my seller to my house.

Fong13, it might help if you stated both the location of origin and the destination. As wolowski007 stated, the regular routes are important to know if you have the time to shop around...since, if you are along a popular "route", it can help you on both timing and charges.

Steve-Indy has a very valid point. Let us know where you live and both Passport and Reliable have great reps. The advantage Reliable often has is they have transportation outlets in Michigan, New York, California , Arizona and Florida , so they cover the 48 contiguous States.

You might check with Classic Car Carriers in Zionsville, IN.
They are first class folks and for many years have hauled countless high end cars owned by my friends on their primary routes running from Chicago/Indy to Naples/Fort Myers. In fact, I just saw one of their big rigs on the road yesterday.

I realize Memphis is slightly off course...but not that much. It might be worth it to call them. 877 533 1897

Andrew with Southern Integrity has worked with many Viper owners. I have used them three times, and they are as professional as they come. He usually is only hauling 1 car at a time. So there is an emphasis on individual service.

I used a company out of Miami, Luxury Shippers, and they were good. Had a car picked up in California and shipped to Central, FL.

I've used Intercity at least 8 times. They are fantastic. They treat the car like it was their own and you can maintain phone contact with the driver along the way. Just had this 62 Vette shipped from Oklahoma to Cape Cod in February.

I have used Intercity and have been very pleased with them. They do not move your car on and off the truck and too other trailers as some of the other companies do.

I'd usually say Road Trip....but its May in Florida and the Love Bugs would not be a welcome addition to your new snake!! Congrats!
